I talked to Jen this morning... well I guess everything wasn't as easy as we had all hoped. Right before the c-section some tests showed that she had full blown Pre E. So they grabbed the babies out real quick and while she was in recovery her blood pressure got too low (in the 40s) and ended up having a lot of tests done. I can't even begin to write everything she told me. She said she will write out the scary birth story when she gets a chance. She is on a magnesium drip and hasn't been able to see her boys yet. They were laughing because the boys are doing so much better than mom. She is hoping to see them this afternoon and even get some food!
The boys are still doing really well... Nate even took a bottle last night! Because they are 34 weeks they will be in the hospital for at least 2 weeks to make sure they can eat and don't get infections. Jen will be in the hospital until at least Friday. Please keep your prayers for her as she needs to get well soon to take care of these boys and bond with them!
But.... the really good news- she told me to share some pictures with you!!!
Alexander Joseph- 5lbs 5 oz.
Benjamin Robert- 3lbs 10oz
