That's the hospital we are going with. I had an appointment with Dr. Wos (my first one, at 9 weeks) and she was awesome. Very nice, and even made the invasive vaginal exam less awkward. She also surprised us with an unscheduled ultra sound, which was awesome. We actually went with her because she got great reviews on yelp. My husband and I just decided to switch to the midwives group though, because they offered more of what I was looking for (I didn't know about them when I set up my original appointment). Meaning, they have tubs for water laboring, they let you try different positions, and they won't push any medicine on you- no matter how long it takes. (Not that the ob/gyn would, it was just something they said specificially.) Plus you get to meet all the midwives at your different appointments, so whoever is on duty when you go into labor you will be comfortable with them.
They are located in the same office, so switching over was incredibly easy. They changed over all the appointments I had set up and everything.
ALSO, something that we liked about the Swedish Covenant Hospital was they offer a payment plan. I don't have insurance- and couldn't get any because of my 'pre existing condition'. As long as everything was paid for before the delivery- it would cost us $2,700 for all the prenatal care, including everything but ultrasounds (one ultrasound was covered). The hospital stay was not covered, and that would be an additional $2,800. So, all together, not terrible. (Not wonderful, but not terrible.)
Anyway, sorry for the long rambling reply- I hope you get something helpful out of it!
Don't have experience with the hospital itself, but the head of Pediatrics, Dr. Andy Sagan, is phenomenal! If you're looking for a Pedi, too, definitely look into him.
I gave birth there in September and the hospital is amazing. My primary Doctor is Dr. Brennan, but Dr. McDermott delivered our son. All of the Doctor's there are great (you will meet all of them on rotation).
The delivery was great, the facilities are great (large rooms with plenty of space, tv's sound systems, lights to change, tubs for birthing) they allow youto do whatvere you would like during the laboring process. The nurses were fantastic. They have 1 dedicated to the mom and 1 to the baby. Everything takes place in the room itself. They will allow you to breastfeed prior to the baby having a bath.
Post delivery rooms are great as well. They are set up for 1 person and have a bed availabel for your spouse/significant other, personal showers and the baby stays in the room with the parents, not in the nursery.
My experience wwas great at Swedish.

I'm currently 23 weeks and am planning on giving birth at Swedish. While I can't talk about the "birth" part itself yet, the care I've gotten at the hospital thus far has been wonderful. I'm with the Midwives group, who are in the same office as an OBGYN. Since the hospital is a little smaller, I feel like I've gotten great personal attention, whether its from the ultrasound tech (who was so awesome I wanted to give her a hug when I was done) or, I'm not kidding, THE FRIENDLIEST PARKING GARAGE PERSON EVER. I was previously at Prentice, and while I was just a prenatal patient there as well, I've had a more comfortable and personalized experience at Swedish (frankly, it was the "baby factory attitude" that I got from my former OB which is why I went shopping in the first place). I hope this helps, and have a wonderful delivery wherever you end up!
