HELP! Husband/Dad to Be Gifts?

I would really like to give my husband Adam a little gift when our daughter is born. I would like to give it to him at the hospital & I hope it can be a surprise. Hes a really big outdoors men & he loves Minnesota Wild NHL team.

The problem Im having hes a guy who has everything. Any ideas, nothing is to crazy.

I think this is a cute idea

I bought a book to give my husband at the hospital the day our son is born. It's a book of bedtime stories with Buddhist messages - and as a professor of world religion, I know he'll love it. He'll be able to read to our son the day he's born.

I really really really want to get some kind of a Raiders onesie/sleeper outfit to bring to the hospital, but I don't have the money for it at the moment, and I'm afraid I've kind of run out of time! I really like the PP's idea of getting a book of bedtime stories or whatever...I know that I'll be reading to LO all the time, but that might be cool for hubby to have the same opportunity. Or maybe a book of lullabies or something since DH is very musically inclined. I am too, but hubby can play at least two instruments besides his vocal chords!

I got DH a cigar humidor (a small one) with 10 cigars in it, and then I got a plate attached that says "Today I became a Dad". Then he can smoke celebratory cigars with my dad, our brothers, etc. and will have a nice keepsake to keep. I have it wrapped and in the bottom of my hospital bag with a nice card thanking him for all i support during my pregnancy. I'm excited to give it to him. Smile

When my neice was born my sister got her DH a couple of CDs that had rock songs turned into lullabies (Ozzy and AC DC I think) lol her husband thought it was the greatest thing ever! lol.

We have some of the CD's that are called Rockabye Baby. Their website is rockabyebabymusic.com. I have seen them at some small baby boutiques and I think Toys 'R Us carries them.

This!!! We are huge MN Wild fans and was thinking of doing this as well. We are going to a game actually next Friday so I'm hoping that I can sneak away from him for a little bit to go buy one.

I think she got hers at chapters, but I just checked and they have a ton on amazon

I'd go with something he can keep forever. Like a VERY nice watch. or you could do something for him and Child like Jerseys with their names on back, get babies bigger than he is now obviously so they can watch games together
