Birth or Not on Fox 59

Fox 59 ran a story this morning about a blog called "Birth or Not," where apparently a couple is taking a public vote on whether they should keep, abort, or give up their baby.  The woman is around 16 weeks pregnant right now and there are numerous ultrasound pictures on the website.

I haven't looked it up because I personally don't want to give the site traffic.  The couple insists this isn't a stunt or prank. 

It disgusts me that someone would make this a public display.  It isn't a prochoice, prolife debate.  But to me, this couple has taken a completely personal decision and turned it into a spectacle.  What kind of parents would they be?!

Did anyone else see this or hear about this?

    I'm fairly new to watching morning news, so don't have much to base an opinion on--but it was a very odd choice of a story.

    I stick to ESPN in the morning (morning news shows are all pretty bad IMO -- depressing news stories up front followed by pointless fluff), but Fox 59 is literally the scum on the bottom of the barrel of morning shows.  It's so so awful.

    DH usually has on Mike&Mike, actually.  I think it's been on Fox lately b/c the only time we really use that TV (in our bedroom) is when he watches the NFL by himself.

    I went to their live broadcast at Lucas Oil a couple Mondays ago.  I heart them and watch/listen to them every morning.  Big Smile

    SO JEALOUS!!! I <3 Mike & Mike! :)  I wanted to go but couldn't get it worked out!  That's awesome!

    yikes! That makes me wonder what type of parents they would be also!
    Maybe they should give the baby up for adoption.

    Abort??? She's 16 weeks along!

    Ha!  No problem :)  We went to a live broadcast in South Bend 4 years ago--it was pretty fun!
