So she and her knocked-her-up-didn't-show-for-abortion-but-still-dating-her-anyway boyfriend have been living in a tent on public property - a park since May. She called because someone robbed their tent and destroyed it.
She called me, all righteous, to complain to me that she is STILL waiting for the cops fifteen minutes after she called them.
I tried to explain that they can ticket her for trepass/loitering since she does not have the right to be spending the night there so she absolutely should not call to complain to the cops about having to wait for them to arrive. I also tried to make her understand why the bf leaving his wallet in the tent was unforgivably stupid, but to no avail.
One of us will cause the death of the other, this I know.

They were saving up to get someplace for the winter. They both get benefits of some sort and she is working. She had been working two jobs but she got fired from Dunkin Donuts because she can't make change. I don't know whether he is working.
I used to pick up and drop off a bag each night with her meds in it at the shelter because I can't have her with me (she steals). Hopefully they have the money to get a room somewhere before it gets super-cold.
