2nd or more timers: labor at work question

I was induced w/ #1 when I was a few days overdue, so I don't really know what it might be like to go into labor on my own. Also, last time I just didn't feel like I was going to go into labor before my due date and this time I'm not as confident about that.
I am planning to work right up until day before my due date, and then work from home due date and later if needed. Getting very nervous about going into labor at work. I'll be 1/2 hour away from home and DH is way in the other direction. MOST LIKELY, I was figuring I would start feeling weird and/or have light contractions first and be able to drive myself home. Is this crazy? Am I more likely to not be able to drive 1/2 hour by myself?
Option B is that someone would have to drive me home, someone else would have to follow us, and then the two of them would go back to the office together, leaving me at home with my car to wait for DH and get bags. I don't want to freak out my team by sending out a message about that plan if it's not likely to be needed.

This is my first, so I don't have an answer for you. But I plan on working until I go into labor too, unless the dr tells me otherwise. I think if I start to experience anything that might be labor I will drive myself home & call DH. If it comes on fast & there's no way I can drive, I'll just have someone call an ambulance and have DH meet me at the hospital. If there is one person you are closer to at work, or even your boss, maybe you could let her know your plans.
We're both about 1/2 hour/40 minutes from the hospital, in opposite directions. It's only about 12 minutes from our house. I would go home first, meet DH, make sure we had arrangements for DD, get our bags and then head to the hospital.
So, if I were at work, it could be a little over an hour from when I would start heading home to when I would arrive at the hospital.
I was also induced with DD #1 but the induction wasn't successful so I was sent home where my water broke and then contractions started.
My plan last time, and again this time, was to talk to one or two trusted people at work and have them lined up in case something happened. My hospital is between work and home though so I would probably just have them take me straight there.
I would not plan on driving yourself anywhere. Can you call DH and have him come get you? I know he is in the opposite direction, but you will (more than likely) have quite a bit of time between the time the contractions start and the time you move into active labor. Then, just have someone from work drop your car off at home or have a family member go get it later.
It might be just me, but I would try to inconvenience my co-workers as little as possible. Having one of them take you home or to the hospital is one thing, but making them do a car shuffle seems like asking a lot.
I've worked on my due date twice. Early labour is no big deal. If I had gone into labour at work, I'd have driven myself home no problem. If I had needed a ride, there would have been, well, everybody, who would give me a lift home or to the hospital, if things were moving so quickly.
If someone has to drive you home, your husband will likely be there to meet you as you will obviously call him when you go into labour.
Labour is not often a rushed affair as seen on tv. Even my second time around (3 hours start to finish) was pretty chill until the 2 hour 30 minute mark.
