what are you getting the person on your list that has everything?

My MIL is impossible.  She gave me ideas but they're like, a case for her earbuds ($5), some bug repellant stuff (seriously?? No, not getting that).  They have everything they could ever want.  I have no idea what to get the woman.  I've even tried in the past to get her massages or facials by asking FIL where a good spa in their town is and he just says, she doesn't need anything don't worry about it.  ugh...

    Why don't you get her a digital photo frame, where she upload some of her favorites photos and have them displayed.   We bought those for my mom, mil, and my aunt, and they all loved them!

    I personally would then take it upon myself to get her something she may use everyday.  I love https://www.benefitcosmetics.com/ they have some really nice makeup sets.  I would get her a makeup bag and then purchase an eyelash curler, mascara and maybe a face wash.  Getting her something she would never buy herself or maybe a new brand she would never think to try.

    We used to do a lot for everyone but since the twins came and we bought our dream home, we have dropped down to very little.  Everyone on our list is in your MIL's position so I make a calendar each year.  Each month has pics from the previous year same month.  So they get to "see the kids grow" through the year.  The other thing we do is take the families out to dinner.  It's kinda a "gift of time" theme.

    this describes just about every person in my family!  bro and his wife are getting tix to a comedy show.  last year, sis-in-law and her hubs got a gift card to a fancy restaurant.  my mom-in-law is getting one of those bracelets (like pandora but diff. brand) where you add charms and we are going to get her a charm to represent each of her 4 grandkids.

    We usually end up giving gift cards to nice local restaurants.  We've also given MIL/FIL a gift card to a nice B&B before so they could take a weekend trip.

    I saw a really cool idea in today issue of the tv guide magazine that came in the Sunday paper. They were talking about gormet gifts that you could make in the kitchen and they had some recipies for flavored butters. It was super cute and sounded amazing! I'm going to make some up and give them away with some yummy breads and crackers.
