Do Gap and Old Navy sizes run large?

It is telling my I need an XL with my bust size (they are gigantic right now), but I usually wear a large in tops.  Should I go up a size or go with my regular size?  I am wearing most of my regular tops still. 

When I was at Motherhood this weekend the stuff I tried on was M and L.

    Yes, they run large.

    I thought so.  I think their sizing charts are off.  Even with my giganto boobs right now, I can't imagine wearing an XL.

    They do run large, and the online sizing charts are crap.  I'd buy your normal size. Case in point: I used the Gap Give and Get discount this weekend and bought 4 shirts off the rack (I had checked sizes online so I could get in and out of the mall).  They're HUGE, like I'm swimming in them.  They're going back tomorrow and I'll get my normal size.
