XP: Bleeding nipple And pumping

Hi
My left nipple is bleeding. I pump 6-8 times per day both sides. Not sure what to do about the bleeding nipple. I am not pumping it now just pumping my right one and will hand express some from my left. Is there anything I can do to help it heal soon?? Tia!

When mine bled I used hydrogels to help speed the healing process. I also put BM on my nipples and let it dry prior to the hydrogels. I had massive damage done but after a day or two they started to scab and then a few more days they were better.

The lanisoh soothie gel pads help too, I used them in between pump sessions.

Pump but with the lowest suction you possibly can. If you don't pump for an entire day you will most likely end up miserable from engorgement. If you can hand express well I would do that a few times as well to cut back time wise on how much you need to pump.

Do a salt water rinse afterwards. Then lanolin and if you have those Lansinoh soothing pads, use those. It will seriously heal it quickly when you do those things.
