Rice cereal & diaper rash

We started rice cereal this week and DS got a very mild diaper rash. Is this a sign of allergy/intolerance? I stopped giving it to him just in case. Has this happened to anyone else?

    yes starting solids can cause this, I would wait a few weeks and re-introduce it, try only giving him a few teaspoons of cereal.
