Had my Surgery Today

I just got home from the hospital, so I'm still a bit loopy from the anesthesia.  My RE found what he would probably call Stage 2 Endo, and he did find a small endometrioma cyst on the left ovary.  He was able to remove everything and he gave me a bunch of before and after pictures of everything.  He also removed the functional cyst on the right ovary.  I'm obviously very happy that I decided to have the surgery to look for endo.  I'm hoping that getting rid of all of it will help my fertility and egg quality.

    I'm glad you got it too and that he was able to remove the cysts. Rest up!

    sucks you had to have surgery but glad they removed everything!  hopefully this helps.

    Glad you opted for the surgery, too!  And I sure hope this brings you to your BFP & sticky baby.

    Are you allowed to TTC again right away, or do you need to wait a cycle?  

    So hope you have only smooth sailing from here!!!  :)

    Thanks everyone!  I have to take these BCP's for about 9 more days to keep my ovaries resting, and then we can start TTC once I stop the pills and AF comes.

    That's great that you got some answers. Being in the dark is the worst. Sounds like surgery went pretty smooth, too. Rest up and take care.
