You have $300 to spend on yourself. You can't spend it on anyone else, just you. And, let's say it is in the form of a universal gift card so you can't say "pay bills" or "put it in savings" or something like that.
What do you buy?

I combine the money and buy "us" an iPad.
And by "us" I mean me.
Okay, okay. I still combine the money, but instead we spend a week at our favorite Hot Springs resort. And we both get massages.
For me, a new outfit, massage, mani/pedi, hair cut, eyebrow wax.
DH: Um, gun ammo and hunting DVD's or something. He has expesive wants so thats about all that would be w/in the $300 budget. I'd take us out on a date night too.
I'd buy myself clothes. Cute ones that fit me.
For DH I'd buy an AR-15 .22 LR conversion barrel and a couple mags. Since that's only 200 of it, I'd probably use the other hundred to get him a good hunting jacket.

Can I combine it and spend it on a sweet weekend ski trip at a hot springs resort? Because that's what I would do.
If I have to keep it separate, I guess a speedlight and $50 worth of clothes for me, and an ipod touch for him.

He wants to build up an expensive bicycle, so I'd put it toward parts for that.
The 300 for dh is easy. He wants that new playstation controller that is motion sensitive and a fishing game and hunting game for PS3.
I would get the seasons of Grey's Anatomy I don't already own which is seasons 4-6. I would probably also get a new phone (which I have to do this weekend) and maybe an ipod.
Me: shoes and/or clothes
DH: hunting stuff

I would either buy a camcorder or put the $300.00 towards an Ipad.

Well considering I spent about that much on myself this weekend.
I got a new pair of sneakers, two sweaters, a few items from a Pure Romance party, and then the corset I posted yesterday.
For DH I would get him a PS3.
Me: 35mm f/2 lens for my canon dslr
DH: The Grouper rod/reel he wants
Me: clothes and shoes or maybe a new lense or flash for my camera
Him: Ipod touch
if i could combine it id do a date night in NYC. We used to do them at least twice a month before LO. Or i would go to AC with H. We have a comped room from the last time we were there that we havent used yet
if i had to keep it seperate we'd go on a shopping trip
