I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to do the closet so I can maximize the space, but I can't seem to find a closet organizing system I like. Show me yours!
We got ours from Home Depot, I think it is Craftmaid, white. Its the wood kind. More expensive, but I don't like the wire ones.
I give up trying to get a ticker. I have a DD that is 2.5 years old and is awesome. Maybe I'll add a quote to distinguish myself. Hmmm. How about...
"It is more fun to talk with someone who doesn't use long, difficult words but rather short, easy words like "What about lunch?" - A.A. Milne, Winnie-the-Pooh
We got ours from Lowe's-it's made by Rubbermaid. I believe it is the 'homefree' series. It is the wire kind and pretty basic but there are many configurations and it was inexpensive. I am really happy with it. If it were up to me I would have someone come in and do a custom closet but when they came for a consultation I could not justify the cost. This comes with a lot of shelving and racks and rods so it is pretty nice.
We have a really small closet, so I bought this organizer at Target. It fits well with room for some other stuff.
We did the same thing, but ours is the 3x3 cube version. It organizes everything well and I think it will be something that we can use for several years in different capacities (ex-toys in the future)
Got this system at Home Depot for $50. We have a 5' closet, the system was best designed for a 8' closet but allowed for adjustments for the 5'. (the 8' plan had 2 hanging shelves on one side, storage shelves in middle and then another hanging shelf on the other side of the storage shelves that should be in the middle). We just condensed it.
I may get a storage thing with the cubby holes similar to a PPs to put on the right side.

No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
We bought a wooden one from Lowes (I don't remember the brand) and it turned out to be a HUGE disaster b/c we measured and silly me didn't look at the damn paper we wrote the measurements on! My H didn't realize it until after he put the shelving part together but the one we bought was too big - so I think I have even less hanger space than I did before! I should have stuck with just adding a 2x2 or 3x3 shelf w/cubes and saved over $200! If it fit, I think it would have been great.
We got this from Home Depot, ClosetMaid brand. If you go to HomeDepot.com you can create your own closet and it will tell you what you need to purchase. Our closet is fairly simple and straightforward but that's why I like it!
Re: Show me your closet
I didn't get this one, but I was thinking about it...looks pretty affordable too

This is what we got too. We have them in three of our closets.
