if you are getting personalized stockings...

will you put your/DH's name on the stocking or get "mom" and "dad"?  I'm kind of leaning towards "mom" and "dad" but I'm wondering if I am crazy?

    I put Mom/Dad on our stockings.  I thought it seemed weird (I don't know why) but that is what we are in this house.  I can't imagine Parker grabbing my stocking in a few years "Here ya go Jessica"

    this is what I was thinking too!

    of course, when I think "mom" I think of my mom, not me!

    We put our first names on ours because that's our name. The kids will realize that someday (not being snarky. I just can't think of any other reason or way to say it). I may be more OK with this because growing up, my parents had their first name on theirs too.

    My parents always had their names too so that's what we have on our's.

    My grandma knit ours for our first married Christmas so ours have our first names.  Last year she knit one to match ours and put Mady's name on it the same way.

    Good question. My parents always had their first names and my stocking (from when I was little) has my first name, and so does Ryan's...and I don't plan to change it!! haha

    We have Ryan and Laura on our stockings, but we've had them since we got married.  I just ordered the same one (with a different pattern) for Tyson and we'll do the same with future children.
