If you pump....

how many ounces are you getting:

 - at each session - (average)

- if you took any supplements (fenugreek) to increase your supply - did they help?

- if so, how many MORE ounces did you get after taking the suppliements

 

Me:  I get around 4 - 7 ounces each time.  I pump during the day and breast feed during her night feedings.  She started not wanting to take the breast during the day for whatever reason but has no problem with it during the night when she is 1/2 asleep.

    I pump at work and get 2-4 ounces total in each session.  I'm going to start fenugreek tonight.

    I have been getting 10 oz in about 15 minutes of pumping..I haven't tried any supplements.

    I get between 2 - 3 oz. per pump session (20 minute sessions).  I was getting a little less than 2 oz. a few days ago and am now getting almost 3, so my supply is definitely increasing, but I'm also pumping every 3 hours around the clock.  I'm going to start supplementing with Fenugreek and Blessed Thistle starting on Wednesday.  I've made the decision to strictly pump as DD falls asleep at the nipple and wakes up ravenous every hour on the hour.  With pumped milk I know exactly how many oz. she's getting and it seems to work in making her feel more satisfied.

    Anywhere from 2-7 oz/session depending on how often and what time of day it is.  I'm trying not to take supplements/fenugreek and working on upping my supply naturally.  I'm drinking lots of water, getting rest, and eating oatmeal for breakfast.  Those things are helping along with pumping every 2-3 hours. 

    If you're using massage/compression, that can significantly help, but it sounds like you're doing just fine.  Make sure you're pumping frequently enough during the day, or after each feeding at night, to keep up your supply. 

    This message board has helped me out significantly since DS won't properly latch and I have to EP if I want him to have BM.
