I had an ultrasound today, and baby is footling breech- the same position she was in two weeks ago. She looked pretty darn comfy in there, too! I'm only 30 1/2 weeks, so I know she has time to turn, but I want to do all I can to encourage it. Is it too early to begin, say, the Spinning Babies techniques? If she still has a ton of room, I'd hate to get her to flip only to have her flip back to breech in a couple weeks. Should I not worry about it until I'm closer to 36-ish weeks? My OB said he isn't concerned (meaning he won't try a version or schedule a c-section) unless she's still breech at 36 weeks, but obviously I'd like her to turn before that. WDYT?

Re: When to try to turn a breech baby?
Encouraging baby to turn now won't hurt anything. I'm only 28 weeks, DD was breech so I put music playing on headphones at my pubic bone and within 20 minutes she flipped, so I'm just going to keep playing music for her a few hours a day until around 36 weeks. The optimal time to flip a breech baby is 34 weeks since they still have room, but more than likely won't flip back.
