s/o butts...embarrassing.

First, I love stuffing and half the time probably don't know where it comes from. It's just all so yummy. ;)

Did I already post about this? I don't know....I have been on meds and lack of sleep. lol So, when I came in here I had this little skin irritation on my back, pretty much on my booty. It was small and I didn't think anything about it. well, after a week of bedrest plus a bedpan I guess it got, uh bigger. So, I freaked out and thought it was a bed sore. DH saw it and was like, wtf is that?! So, I asked a nurse to look at it and she said it looked like an ingrown hair but wasn't sure. Just then, two other nurses were coming in to change shifts so she told them and they wanted to see it. THEN DH told the dr. the next day and he wanted to see it! Well, that night it opened and it's all fine now.

So, this morning the dr. came in and was like how is that big boil thingy doing? aghhh...he remembered! I was like, well it burst and about 5 people have seen it! lol  He said it's a good thing this isn't a teaching hospital.

    Sorry, but I lightly LOL'd at this.  I hate embarrassing medical stuff!
    Batman likes to watch cartoons on the weekends. Whatever.

    LOL!

    Was it on your tailbone?  If so, you had a pilonidal cyst.  Ive had them a few times - twice they needed to be lanced at the hospital and packed with gauze.

    The 2nd time it was packed I had to get DH to take it out for me.  It was a little hole with a gauze strip sticking out.  I looked like I had a little tail!  The poor guy had to pull it out and look at all that nastiness!  Definitely one of my least sexiest moments!  But thats some love right there!

    Anyhooten...to avoid getting them again or to open it quicker...always exfoliate that area...if you feel one coming use a hot wet compress or take an epsom salt bath...they draw out the infection.
