5 month old not eating

So DD has not been eating very well the last week or so.  Since she was born she has always been a good eater and napper but the last week or so she has only been eating about 20-24 oz a day compared to 30-32 oz a day.  She screams when i try and give her the bottle.  She was constipated last week she went on Tuesday and it was Friday and she still had not pooped so i was told by the doctor to give her a suppository which i did and she went but she hasn;t been her self?  Any one have any ideas or been thru this?  Anything will help.  I hate when she doesn;t eat.  Today she has eaten 5 oz at 7:00 5 oz at 11:00 and that is it.

    Does she have a temp?  I'd wonder if she was sick.

    Ds has been like this too lately. Not sure what's going on with him but I think he is more interested in playing and observing than eating. Sometimes I have to take him into his room where it is quiet for him to finish his bottle.

    See post below "bottle issues".....DD was doing the same thing...I thought she was sick....I tried all different bottles, nipples, etc. but now she is back to eating normal amt again. It was just a phase. As long as she has enough diapers, dont worry.

    no she doesn't have a temp and i have tried to bring her in her room to try and feed her but it doesn't seem to make a difference.  I am going to keep an eye on it and if she isn't better i will make an appt to see the doctor and have them do little physical on her

    Are you feeding any solids yet?  DS is on cereal 2x a day and vegetable for lunch per pedi he should still be drinking at least 25 ounces a day of formula.. he has some days when he drinks less..

    i just started veggies on Saturday since she wasn't eating and she ate a whole can 2.5 ounce of sweet potato and i just gave her some cereal mixed with 1 oz of formula this afternoon just to get some food down her and she ate the whole thing.  I think i am just overreating but hey what new mom doesn;t
