My 2 best friends have this stroller and they say it's the best. I just think it's ridiculously expensive!! I just wanted to see what other people thought about this stroller. If you are either getting it or have it...what do you think are the pros of this stroller and the cons ? Thanks for the help!
Re: Does anybody have any Pros and Cons for the UppaBaby stroller?
This is the stroller DH and I have chosen. We went to the store to "test drive" it and got tons of information on it. Some of the things I love about it are, its easy to fold up, it comes with the bassinet and toddler seat and you can add the car seat adapter for like 60 dollars. So in a sense you have a 3-1 stroller. Also if you plan on having kids closer together, you can add a 2nd seat for about $150 instead of having to buy a double stroller. It pushes great, and the handles adjust so if your DH is taller he could push it comfortably. I personally think it looks CUTE also. I really like it.
I have heard a few cons, some people said it takes some time getting used to closing it, because its a little tricky. Also, when you do use the 2nd rumble seat, both seats will be forced to face you, so the older child will only see the seat in front of he or she, not a big deal but something to think about.
All and all I am really excited for the stroller!!!!
I have the UppaBaby Vista and love it.
Pros: It's a very smooth ride, it is very easy to maneuver, parts click in and out very, very easily. It can accommodate up to 3 kids (awesome plus in my book), it comes with a bassinet which you could use for LO to sleep in instead of purchasing a separate pack n' play or bassinet for the beginning. The basket is massive, as a city-dweller that is a huge plus for us. The handle telescopes which means that it was the ONLY stroller that I didn't kick the back of when walking.
Cons: It's pricey and it doesn't come with a cup holder (although they're readily available).
Obviously, the pros far outweighed the cons for us or we wouldn't have bought it. I love it and very much doubt that I will ever regret this purchase.
I have it and love it. I can easily go from bassinet to car seat adapter in a jiffy. It's smooth and the basket underneath is great for mall shopping
.
It doesn't come with a cup holder but sunshine kids and others work well. I don't use one as I use my JuJuBe stroller/diaper bag clips and sometimes just sit my "drink" in there. Maybe when DS gets older I'll get the sunshine kids console.
I can't say enough about my stroller. I literally hate when I don't get to use it when we are out.
Pros - so smooth, easy to assemble and take apart, LO loves it, he can face you or not face you in the toddler seat which are great options, coverts into a double with the rumble seat
Cons - on occasion I find the rear wheels to wide but that's usually b/c i am a klutz!
All in all amazing stroller. It was our one splurge that was a must!!
