Formula poop

I am transitioning my son right now from breast milk to formula because I am heading back to work. He is currently getting half breast milk half formula. Ever since I started formula he hasn't been pooping. He has pooped once yesterday and not at all today. How many times does a formula feed baby poop? Is this normal?

Yes it is normal. BF babies poop more and FF babies poop less. It is the lactose from the cow's milk, takes longer to digest. My twins were on Nutramagin which is one of the only lactose free formulas and their poop was similar to when they were EBF. Just watch for signs of constipation.

It's normal if you're transitioning. My LO didn't poop at all yesterday, but has been pooping up a storm today. Watch out, it'll come back with a vengeance!

Warning! Warning! Formula poop is so much worse than breastmilk poop, in my opinion. It is super stinky (or maybe its just my son??) and in our case he goes one massive bowel movement in the morning... versus with the breastmilk it was smaller amounts and more frequent.

LO's poop was super stinky when she was on Similac. We switched to Enfamil and it hardly smells at all! And she has small, frequent poops.

My LO poops every 1-3 days. When she does poop it's like she is pooping out a superball. Really hard and super round. I have tried everything and nothing works.

I supplement just a few ounces of formula a day cause my LO wasn't gaining weight. The poop is stinkier & comes in a larger volume. I got shot with it first thing this morning. What a mess to clean up when you're still half asleep.

Normal, since on EF my lil one only poops every 2-3 days.
