TTC After a Loss
Third times a charm?
I just found out last night that we are pregnant. I am surprised at my shock/fear/anxiety/disappointment. I don't even know how to describe my feelings accurately, but all those fears and worries are flooding my mind. I went straight to the doctor this morning so they could start the baseline testing and just going back there sent me into an anxiety attack because I could not help but remember how I felt the last few times I saw the ultrasound with bad news.
Instead of being excited about the prospect of having a healthy baby, I am cautious about getting excited because I want to save myself from disappointment later if we miscarry again. And I can't help but to think about how horrible it would be to go through all of that again.
Any thoughts on how long this will last?
