Spraying/rinsing poop question... specifically pockets.

She's only getting maybe an ounce of solid food every day or so, but the poop is already more offensive... great...

So, do you unstuff pockets before spraying?  Seems like the logical thing to do so that you aren't just saturating the stuffing with poop water.  Especially if you catch it quickly.

Right?

    I used to leave the inserts in, but I'm a lazy EFFer.

    Also, this sounds gross (and well, it is) but I found the poop removal to be much easier if I let it sit in the diaper a while and well, dry out a bit.

    Ditto but I also found the spray idea to be a lot messier than a simple scrape with a plastic knife - especially on pockets, it was usually easy to loosen a corner and then the whole thing just kind of peeled off.

    Ditto.  I've been able to do this and just brush off the majority of poop with a lil toilet paper or the cloth wipe I used.  I do take the insert out before spraying or dunking though.

    I leave the inserts in, but then I wring the hell out of them.  And yes, I get poopy water all over my hands.  But then, I have to wash them anyhow!
