Sarah's Godmother is awesome :)

My best friend is Sarah's future godmother. She's been INCREDIBLE since the day I announced my pregnancy. My shower is on Sunday and I'm blown away by how excited she is about it! She and my mom have been coordinating, and I guess she emails my mom all the time with ideas. She picks up little gifts for Sarah all the time, and always offers to take me to my doctor's appointments (although she works 50 hours a week and is one of the busiest people I know). The other day I didn't call her back for an hour, and she texted me to make sure Sarah and I were ok! It's just so nice to have her. Several of my other friends have barely acknowledged my pregnancy. Anyway thanks for reading. I do so much venting, it's nice to write about happy things too

aww! that's awesome! my baby's godmother is my little sister, and she's pretty darn awesome too - but your best friend sounds like she's just a fantastic person in general! you're so lucky to have such an amazing friend!

That sounds awesome. My bff lives 5 hours away and just had a baby 2 weeks ago. Although we can text, we don't get to see each other very often. It's nice you have someone like that around.
