DD "invented" tandem nursing
It's an amusing story
DD and I were walking to the car this morning and she said "Daddy need mow lawn" I reply "probably not until next year, after the winter" She says "mummy maybe mow lawn next year" I tell her "Mummy will have a little baby next year so daddy can do the lawn mowing."
Her adorable response was "mummy have another baby having mummy milk, I be nursing on other side"
We have never actually seen anyone tandem nursing so I'm pretty sure she came up with this idea all on her own.
I have made no plans about tandem nursing, I'm waiting to see what happens to my supply. Tandem nursing wasn't uncommon in the circle I grew up in, so I'll have lots of friends mums to ask if we decide to. but... she'll be almost 3 when the new one is born so I've been hoping that she stops on her own. by this comment I don't think she has any plans to give up the boob without my intervention.
Children should be seen, and heard, and believed.

Awww she is way to cute!
One of my SIL BF her daughter tell she was around 4. She just turned 6 this year and started school. She is so smart and turned out great! Also she rarely gets sick
My BIL's wife way saying that she was going to have a hard time in school since SIL never left her in daycare and BF so long. But she is doing amazing in school! I really look up to SIL, she is a great mom!
I say if you are comfortable tandem nursing the go for it!~
