We started DS on babyfood over the weekend after recommendation from his pedi gastrointerologist. We're hoping real food, with rice cereal in his bottles, help his reflux. How much are you giving your LO?
I took a 2.5oz container to daycare this morning for him to eat with his next bottle (around 8:00) and when I picked him up this afternoon there was a note on his sheet that said: "he ate really well, he enjoyed the whole container".
I had been giving him only half but he seems to be fine, no extra spit up or vomiting so I guess hes ok....but is that too much?
TIA!!
Re: how much babyfood are you feeding your 4mo?
DD doesnt have reflux but pedi told us to start with orange veggies, then move on to the rest and then fruit then meat
When you say 2 tbsp of cereal...do you mean 2 tbsp dry cereal then diluted in something or 2 tbsp of the diluted cereal.
My LO is 5 months...
This is what we are doing.
Breakfast- 1/2 jar of #1 fruit, with 2 tablespoons of oatmeal
Dinner-1/2 jar of #1 veggie, with 2 tablespoons of rice
At 6months I plan on adding lunch. Not sure when I'm going to start the full jar however.
