Question for those with PCOS post baby

Did anything change with your PCOS after being pregnant/giving birth? Pre-baby I had very irregular periods and NEVER ovulated. We conceived with femara/ovidrel/IUI and now my daughter is ~13 months, I stopped nursing about a month ago and just got AF today. Am wondering if there's hope that somehow the pregnancy "kick started" my system and maybe I'll one day ovulate on my own. Happen to anyone?

Mine did I had a couple of cycles after DD turned 1 (I was still nursing some) and got pg with DS the month I weaned DD....totally a surprise as pre-DD I didn't ovulate without help, etc.

Since DS I've had regular, albeit long (35 day) cycles with temp confirmed ovulation each month ....I almost don't believe it but I'll take it!

I did go back on metformin this past May to try to keep this good thing going

I got my period 45 days after weaning DD1 but then it was back to the old routine after that....

this time around still no AF...weaned 2 weeks ago now.

I think it totally depends. I got on pp AF after night weaning and nothing since. CD 80 something now.

I got AF regularly after DS1, but did not get pg on our own. Had one period after DS2, and was pregnant that cycle with DD.

Mine was always somewhat regular (31-37 days) however when we were TTC the first time.

Before DS I only had regular cycles on Met. I was breastfeeding/pumping and not supplementing and got AF at 6 weeks on the dot and then regular 28 day cycles. I quit BF around 12 weeks and started the nuva ring. Stopped when DS was 5 or 6 months and had 3 regular cycles at 28 days on the dot. Not actively TTC but not preventing, didn't get pregnant and went back on BC for a few more months. Have been actively TTC for at least 8-10 months without success. I don't chart or anything but have had a few mid-cycle u/s that had a good follie, just don't know if I O'd or not.

When TTC DS I didn't respond at all to 4 rounds of clomid and this time I have responded twice, so we shall see. Dr recommended I go back on Met so I did.

So things are more normal appearing on the surface, although I've had some killer acne, but I'm still not getting KO.

No luck here. I had a couple of normal periods, but no ovulation, and then, as usual, all hell broke loose.

I have had 1 PP AF, about 6 weeks ago. Nothing before or since and I weaned at 5 months

I got my period 8 weeks pp, while nursing. I have no idea if it would have been regular because I got an iud shortly after that. I think it would have gone back to the usually 60 days cycles because after I had my iud removed, that's what happened.

I've had the opposite problem. I was normal and regular before my first child (28-30 days) then after that everything went to hell..hahaha. I am mostly annovulatory and can have 40+ day cycles.
