No pregnancy belly

I'm 23 weeks, and I've gained 20lbs, but I still don't look pregnant. At all. A couple of my friends who are pregnant and due around the same time look like houses, and they've gained less weight than me. I just don't get it.

One of them is having her second child, but the other one is having her first like me and she is still twice the size I am.

    Everyone carries differently. :) My cousin barely looked pregnant at 6 months, so I guess it happens!

    I'm 5 weeks behind another girl at work.  She clearly looks pregnant, whereas I just look like I have a gut.  I'm hoping I pop soon.

    Yep! No sense in comparing because everyone's body build is super different and there are so many ways mommies carry the baby! It IS frustrating but that's just the fact of it all. I wouldn't say I show too much either...only family and friends would actually notice a difference. It bums me out a bit because I wish I had a bit more to show since I am now over the halfway mark! Nevertheless, I think we will be eating these words come out last month of pregnancy :P Hang in there!

    I was feeling the same way since I look like I am showing less this time around, which is unusual.  Another girl at work is a little ahead of me and very clearly preganant.  It's hard not to compare!  Be thankful you are not turning into a house yet.  It will happen.  I stopped taking bump pictures at that end of my last pregnancy- I didn't want to have a giant bump anymore!

    I feel the same way - I am 18 weeks no belly, no weight gain. I guess I cant wait to feel baby move so I know its real!!

    yep. ditto. 18 weeks and nothings. Went up a bra size though.... yay? I don't know I was happy with my Ds, and not so thrilled to hit the DD. I wonder where I'll land when this is all over....

    I'm not showing even at over 25 weeks. I ask my doctor at my 24 week check-up all he said was it happens. He even mentioned a woman in his early practice that didn't pop until she was in her 30th week. So it evidently does happen. I just wish it didn?t happen to me!
