How long did everyone wait before telling family and friends about your pregnancy?

we told our parents after our first dr appointment at 5 weeks and then everyone else at about 10 weeks.

we told family like my dad and brothers and the inlaws a few weeks after we found out. but it was before my first appointment at 10 weeks.

we told friends on a need to know basis but eveyone knew by about 13 weeks. i made my first facebook post about 13/14 weeks

I wanted to tell my parents in person, and we don't live nearby, so I told them at 7 weeks. I would have waited longer if we had lived close by. I told everyone else at 12 weeks.

We waited 13 weeks because we lost a pregnancy before and had told everyone we knew. Telling everyone I lost the baby was just as hard as actually going through the m/s for me.

We told my parents at 7w, DH's family (there's 5 of them) at 9w, the rest of my family at 12w. I told my best friend at 10w and other friends at 13w, and work at 13w.

We told family very early at 5 weeks and friends at about 7 1/2. We figured, though it was early, we wanted people to be praying for us as soon as possible! And we were overjoyed to share the news!!!

We told our parents and my sisters (on my family vacation) around 5 weeks. We told his siblings and our friends around 12-13 weeks. I have not made a formal FB annoucement or anything but I am just telling my friends as I speak to them in person or on the phone.

We told my DH's parents the night we found out and my parents a couple days later. We told everyone after both our parents knew. It had to be at 4 weeks. We knew we should have waited to make sure everything was ok first, but we couldn't keep it a secret. Although we did wait until my 2nd tri to tell my Grandparents.
