trick or treat! Can I use your restroom?

uuuum yeah... I had two teenage girls come to the door and one of them asked to use the restroom. I felt bad saying no.... but, I was totally not okay with that. I asked if she lived in the neighborhood and she said no.

What would you have done? If it were someone I knew, I'd be okay for sure with it. I just found this extremely odd.

I just saw The Strangers last night and would have said "No" too. Especially if they don't live in your neighborhood, that's just weird

my husband said, " yeah, that's creepy. I wouldn't have done that either." (meaning he wouldn't have let her in)

No way!!! I do not trust anyone. What if she's up there distracting you from seeing other things going on maybe in the back yard or elsewhere? Casing the joint for someone else? Call me a paranoid person, but I just don't give anyone an ounce of my trust when it comes to strangers or my house.

She can go pee on the front lawn if she needs to go.

I would have let them. Of course, I let two people (one parent and one kid) use mine last year. I've also let our UPS guy use it.

It depends on how old. I think if they were young enough that I didn't think it was weird they were ToTing in the first place, I'd let them. Sometimes, you just really have to go, and you're not that close to your house. Also, I personally find that physical activity like walking makes me need to go more.
