Babies: 9 - 12 Months

fellow 30 day shredders

I started the shred on 9/7, making today my 9th day. I only did 3 days on level one, and moved up to level 2 already. Here's the thing - I haven't lost a single lb yet Huh? Did this happen to anyone else? is it one of those deals where it all comes off at the end? otherwise, I feel like I am wasting my time. which, is very precious lol.

  • Yes. I have been doing it for about a month and I have lost 1 1/2 pant sizes. I weighed myself a couple of weeks into it and didn't lose any weight so I quit weighing myself and focus on my pant size. I can finally fit into my pre pregnancy "fat" jeans which is a huge success to me... and it's only been a month.

Also, have you been eating good? I mean counting calories? You definitely have to watch what you eat.

I am still ebf'ing DD and plan on doing so for another 3 months, so I can't count calories too much. I also started Stroller Fit when DD was 7 weeks old, and have been doing that 3x/week since. I also do a pilates class one night a week. All this PLUS the 30 day shred. FWIW, i'm not overweight to start with. I am actually 4 lbs lighter than the day i got pregnant, BUT i was up about 10-15 lbs when I got pregnant from all the stress of our long TTC journey.

  • Yeah, I'm not overweight either. I guess that's why the weight isn't "falling off." I didn't know you were EBF. I think that's a whole different ballgame :-)  I have no advice. Are you pants fitting looser at least?

  • Awwww, I'm sorry :(

I recall somebody on here saying she was on day 39 and only lost 1/2 lb. But I'm sure BFing has something to do with it, and the fact that you're not overweight, you may be gaining muscle. This is what I got when I posted about it, you can probably see my question about it if you click on my profile, it may still be there.

Anyway, at least know you're getting muscle even if you're not losing and I do believe it will pay off at some point. Stick with it :-)
