Not so soft fitteds anymore!

How do you keep your fitteds feeling soft after washing? I don't like drying them because of shrinkage in the dryer. So, usually I air dry most or all the way, then throw them in the dryer for 10-20 minutes to make them soft again. But they still aren't as soft. Does anyone else have any suggestions on how to keep your fitteds feeling super soft?

    I have heard of people using Ecover to soften them, but I have not tried it myself.  I do the same thing you do -- sun dry, then put in dryer with a couple of wet wipes to soften them a little.  However, when it rained a few days in a row, and I was not able to sun dry, I had to use the dryer, and my fitteds came out pretty soft.  I don't like using the dryer either.  I prefer sunning b/c it gets out stains, and it's free!

    I just toss mine in the dryer every time. They stay pretty soft. I am too lazy to take them out to sun, plus DH makes fun of me when i do :(
