Dang how long does it take Amazon to Ship?

I ordered some item on Tuesday and they still haven't shipped! Says shipping soon!

It depends on the item. They used to be quick, like the next day, but I've noticed that lately they've been taking longer, like up to a week. It's probably so that they could up their Amazon Prime sales.

Theres several reasons why your item hasn't been shipped:
1. Item is in high demand resulting in later shipping dates.
2. Type of shipping you selected.
3. They usually state when you purchase something that it'll be shipped within "1-10 days" (example). So if your item doesn't always get sent out shortly after purchase. Could be a week before they ship and a week for it to make it your home. All depends on the item and where its being sent from.

Most items I get within 10-14 or so days of ordering. That's awesome for where I live.

Also depends if it's coming from Amazon, or another seller. Outside sellers usually take days and days to ship stuff.

Another factor is how it's being shipped and where it's being shipped from compared to where you live (further apart takes longer b/c of shipping). I bought a book from an authorized seller a couple months ago and it took over 3 weeks. D@mn media mail and it's Pony Express-like pace.

I ordered a crib and it shipped within 3 days. Then again, I think I qualified for a faster delivery. My sister in law ordered her crib at the same time and she got hers quickly too. I do have to say that it is my first time ordering from Amazon, so I have nothing to compare it to. GL!
