Monkey Snuggles pocket diapers?

WOuld they be worth the sale price of $14?  I am looking for a baby shower gift for a friend.  On top of that if I buy over $50 I get a $10 off with a coupon code.  I just don't know how good they are.  Anyone ever use the pockets?  I know the overnights are well loved here but not sure I have read anything about the pockets.

    I have a couple of sized pockets - they are pretty good.  the inserts are very slim and need a lot of washing to reach full absorbency.  For $14 that's a nice price, I think what we paid.  But if she's never cloth diapered before she might be disappointed.  KWIM?

    I have a couple and love love love them. The inserts are super slim and very absorbent.  I love the sized ones and am sad she is discontinuing them. They are the trimmest diapers we have.

    Whaa? discontinuing them.  Darnit.  I do like them - but for us we use them in very specific situations, they are super trim so they are great for very slim fitting clothes.  Shoot.  I have to decide now whether to buy some smalls for an imaginary LO #2.

    We have some and really like them.  The monkey snuggles were the few pockets that survived me selling off all our pockets.  We bought them about 2 years ago and they have held up really well.
