NBR: Moms of toddlers who trick or treated....

Is it bad that I want to go back out and score more candy??  LOL.  Considering DS is allergic to 80% of what he got, the majority will stay with DH and myself.  I always loved trick or treating--I guess the thrill to see the variety you can get or something.  We t or t'd in a different area so didn't go to our own subdivision and seeing what the kids are coming to our door with in their bags makes me wonder.....there are 1/4 pound bags of M&Ms, some adults are eating nachos, freshly popped popcorn, hot cocoa---there is a carnival somewhere---mama has to find it!

I was pleasantly surprised though to see that he did get a lot that he can eat--suckers mainly.  He was so thrilled to see a dum dum sucker that he was double fisting them for a while!  LOL

    My confession is that I just went out and bought two big bags of candy to "give out to the kids" but I am really hoping that we don't get that many so I can eat it all.

    I have gotten just 1 trick or treater so far - depressing! I gave him several large handfuls of candy bars. What if he is the only one?? I will have WAAAAY too much leftover.

    I was pretty disappointed in our stash. DS wanted to play at my parents house and wasn't too interested in ringing any doorbell other than the one at my parent's house. I was really disappointed when I got home and found out all of our candy had been given away, kids keep knocking on our door too.

    I live in a town house and I just swapped a piece of candy out of my neighbors bowl that he left out on the way into my house, lol.  I bought all this candy and no one has come to my door!
