Ok, so after doing a bunch of research, I've found that Prairie Farms Dairy is the "local" milk that my grocery store carries. Anyone know anything about these farms and how their cows are treated? I know they do not use any growth hormones, but wondering how to find a rating or find what the cows are fed, etc.
Thanks!
Re: Prairie Farms Milk?
Thanks...it's actually not organic, but I'm wondering how I can find out how they treat their cows. I think I'm happy with the fact that it's more local (IL) and that there are NO growth hormones. Now I'd just like to know a little more, and can't seem to find anything on it. Any ideas?
