hate eating solid food? Refuse it entirely? Clamp his or her mouth shut whenever a spoon comes near it? Plan to stay on the boob juice until further notice? Or are all your LOs eating jars upon jars of baby food every day?

Matthew does that if he doesn't like the food. I try everything before giving it to him. If he is still clamping down try playing airplane with his food.

We do BLW and he is pretty into at least in the first few minutes then will play which is totally fine. Solids aren't needed right now so I wouldn't worry and maybe give your LO a break for a week and try again.

DD was like this for weeks until we tried BLW. Turns out she just didn't like being spoon-fed. She will now eat absolutely anything we put on her tray.

tell me more about this BLW...I'm not sure if DS would be able to pick up really small pieces of food. What do you give to them that is small enough and soft enough that they won't choke?

Bryce used to do that up until about 3 weeks ago, now he eats solids like a champ. I just kept trying with him and eventually one day he started opening his mouth for them and now I can't get the spoon in his mouth fast enough.
