We were sitting here discussing how the next few weeks will suck for us at work because we have a trainee coming to our shift. When we have a trainee we can't have the tv on or read etc. Makes for a booooring 12 hour shift.

So, then I exclaim quite loudly, "Well next week is not going to be nearly as bad as next year. I have to work with M two days a weeks and L three days a week. Kill me now!!!" (and I have a loud voice that travels)

One of my co-workers looks at me in horror and says, "Uh L is here in the breakroom, she probably heard you!" Whoops! I totally forgot L was coming on shift.

Eff....L also spends all shift typing emails to management complaining about every little thing. I'm sure she will be shooting off an email to our manager as soon as she signs in. gah!

    Ha! I've done that before and it is so embarrassing.oh and question. How do you bump from work? Do you sneak it? Use your phone or work computer? My work is policy crazy....

    they are pretty lax when it is slow. Obviously I'm not on when it's busy. Our big boss says as long as it doesn't interfere with work and isn't inappropriate then he is fine with it. We can't go on ebay, FB, YouTube/stream videos, craigslist etc.

    wow! That's pretty sweet... you guys hiring? Jk. Were not allowed on the internet. No books. No tv. Nothing. So when its slow. Were not allowed to do anything. Its weird. We're the most strict place I've heard of.

    Oh my gosh, I would go crazy if we couldn't read, or have tv on (even if it's just the news). I could not just sit and do nothing when we are slow. It gets so boring. We are hiring right now actually! We are taking on another city in January so we need to hire 3-4 people.
