My husband just put desitin on DS's butt then put the CD on. this had never been a problem because we didn't have it in the house but he just had a bad rash so we had used it with sposies. I know that i have to scrub it with dawn and then if i rinse it can i wash it with my regular diapers? or do i have to wash the one CD alone? 

What is the best way to take care of this?

    I would at least rinse it alone, with a sprayer or soak it in a bucket of water with a little dawn.

    DS had major rash issues and I had to use some desitin. I used liners, but it still got on them. My inserts smelled like fish. I had to bleach them.

    I would try soaking.
