Waiting on test results over the weekend

I had no quad screen or other genetic screening done when I was pregnant with DS, so I don't know what possessed me to have the Cystic Fibrosis screening done this time.  Wouldn't you know it, I tested positive as a carrier of CF.  DH had his blood work done Tuesday morning, and my OB didn't get the results back before her office closed today.

                                         

While we?re trying to reassure ourselves that there is at least a 75% chance that the baby will not have CF, waiting is driving me bonkers!

 

Did anyone else test positive as a carrier of CF?

    I didn't do the testing, but hang in there! I have a friend who's almost 40 years old with cystic fibrosis - it's not necessarily a dire diagnosis even when positive.

    I didn't test positive, but I do know how hard it is to wait for results until the weekend is over!  My (old) doctor does a half day on Friday and takes Mondays off.  It's tough!  Hang in there and wishes for good results on for you on Monday.
