I posted this on my regular May 2011 board too, but 1st Tri tends to get more traffic, so here we go!
I've heard that heartbeat above 150 generally indicates a girl, and below is a boy. Just trying to figure out from our 2nd (or 3rd....or 4th...) time moms if there's any truth in this or if it's just an old wives tale!

Re: Clicky poll: Moms - did heartbeat predict gender?
HB correlation is an OWT, I've linked to an article that I really like on this topic: https://www.obgyn.net/medical.asp?page=/english/pubs/features/dubose/ehr-age
Even if there was a shred of truth, a 1st tri hb would not be a helpful gauge since the hb starts slowly, really gears up, then settles a bit. That said, here you go...
HB=110 6w
HB=135 7w
HB=165 9w
HB=158 12w
HB with home doppler= 136-160 14w+
We are having a boy.
