Baby Jogger City Select. I have spent the past 2 months researching/trying strollers. The City Select allows for 2 car seats (and later when they are older 2 seats). If you are just taking one baby out, you can take off the extension and shrink the stroller to a single. It is easy to move around corners, folds small (for a double), and has a large basket underneath. The accessories are kinds pricey and you have to purchase the adaptors for the car seats but we think it is worth it.
U/S#1 showed 2 heartbeats!
U/S#2 showed Baby A's heartbeat was 157 and Baby B 's heartbeat was 183!
U/S#4 showed Baby A is a Boy (heartbeat 161) and Baby B is a Girl (heartbeat 159)!!
look at the FAQ here and the stroller stickies on the forums on TwinStuff.com - that will help you narrow down what you're interested in, then definitely try a few out in person before making a decision!
The stroller totally depends on your lifestyle, where you live (climate, urban/suburban/rural), etc.
I'd suggest getting a DSNG. Its inexpensive, simple to fold and incredibly light with a large storage basket for shopping. You can use it the first few months while you decide which features of a stroller are important to you. There is no one double stroller that has everything, so you really need to know your "must haves" and the features you'd sacrifice. My DDs were in the DSNG until 7 months. I thought I'd want a Double City Mini, but I sustained pretty bad abdominal muscle separation and an umbilical hernia from the pg. Lifting the heavy City Mini out of the van not a good idea. I needed a light weight stroller. I'd have been out money had I purchased the stroller while pg.
Yep we had a DSNG which I am now trying to sell or give away. ( it was already second hand) and I finally chose the Graco Quattro Tour, and I am happy with it, but it is heavy and I would not have been able to lift it for the first 8-10 weeks after surgery and 7 weeks prenatal and 6 weeks post partum modified bedrest ( my bp was elevated until 6 weeks after delivery).
We have the Chicco double stroller and are happy with it. It does also hold the Chicco infant car seats which is a big plus.
I will admit.. there are somedays when I only have 1 with me that I'd like a regular 1 seat stroller.
For shopping purposes I prefer the tandem vs the side by side.. I have a hard time going into some of these kid clothing stores and fitting down the aisle with the tandem let alone a wider stroller.
