Holy Hearburn from Hell!!

Last night I fell asleep around 8:30 and woke up at 9:30 with the worst heartburn of my life!!!

I took tums, which I quickly threw up! I drank milk and water and sat up. Nothing helped. It was so bad I was in tears! I almost went to the ER but felt like a baby going to the ER for heart burn. 

Is anyone else experiencing this? If so, what did you do to help it because that was the worst 3 hours of my life!!!!

    I have had horrible HB for about 3 months now. I have to take pepcid every morning. It sucks BAD!!

    I have been having the same problem. I have been taking a raniditine in the morning and occasionally in the evening.  I threw up the tums too. I also sleep on a huge pile of pillows to keep my shoulders elevated and I don't eat anything after about 6:00.  I have also found that eating soup for lunch or drinking large quantities of water make my heartburn unbearable.
