freaking out a little/new job related!

I start my new job as a health coach on Sunday night. I'm excited but sad to be leaving my little ones. I'll be working two 12 hour shifts and two 8 hour shifts, so I'll only need a babysitter on 3 days. DH is hoping to get a later shift so that they will only be with someone else for 3 half days.

BUT-I'm freaking out! David still wakes 3 times during the night, and I will be at work during those times. I hope that DH can handle it...I'm a little nervous to pass this off to him. eek...just needed a little vent. Excited and nervous at the same time...here's to hoping this new venture opens a lot of opportunities for me and my family.

  • Yay for the new job! I hope things go really smooth as you make this transition. I would be nervous as well. When I went back to work after ds I was so anxious, after a few bumps it went ok. I hope yours is ok from the start :)

  • I'm sure everything will go smoothly!  But I know how nerve wracking it is to change jobs.  Good luck!  We'll be thinking of you!

  • Best of luck with your new job!!! :D  How exciting.

Speaking as a mama who was a bit nervous leaving DH at home with DS for various reasons, dads are great at figuring out what they need to.  They'll get their routine down.  There may be some adjustment but your LO's are in safe hands! :)

  • Ditto everyone else.  I totally understand being nervous, but I'm sure your DH and DS and DD will get everything figured out.  Good luck with everything!

  • That's exciting and intimidating at the same time! Like everyone else, I'm sure you'll find a way to make it wonderful, but I'll keep my fingers crossed for a speedy and easy transition!
