Cloth Diapering

LOVING my cloth :) inspirational...

The first 2 weeks of DD's life, I occasionally used cloth and was so unsure about it.. I remember posting, wondering if maybe I made the wrong decision and should stick to sposies...

Well here we are at almost 5 weeks, and I would never switch back! I feel like the disposables are so cheap and nasty, when DD wears them at grandmas, I can't wait to get her back in the GMD's... love them!

I had 3 blowouts using disposables.., none with cloth!

My point is... if you are just trying it and having second thoughts, give it a few days - I am SO glad I did! :)

  • Ditto to all of this! I was really intimidated at first too, it seems daunting with the overload of information, brands and methods... But once you start, you'll find what works well with your lifestyle (Hate AIO's and pockets but am in love with my GMD prefolds and Thirsties covers!).

I talked to my sister tonight about this actually. Her follow-up questions: "You still breastfeeding?" Yep, still am, going strong. Then "Hahaha, how about cloth diapering?" Yes! We love it.

I think, especially, the concept of washing, God forbid, haha, the diapers is "gross" to people... But you can't avoid changing your baby!

I love that they smell SO much better too. 'Sposies are stinky.
