About what is in a diaper - possibly TMI

Questions for you wise ladies.... If food looks undigested in diaper what does this mean? Is DS not "ready" for this food yet? Is he not getting any nutrients from this food? Is it normal?

  • Sounds pretty normal to me.

We had poppy seeds in our dinner last night and I opened up DSs diaper a little while ago and it looked like bugs at first, and I lost myshit.  Then I remembered what we ate for dinner.

  • meh, he's probably not chewing it up. the shells of peas don't digest (i don't think) and rice, well if you don't chew it it looks the same.

  • Blueberries are the worst!  And raisins.  They rehydrate.  ::vomit::  Kate has whole food in her diaper all the time.
