Anatomy Scan

I was going through some other boards and it seems like everyone is having their anatomy scans and finding out what they are having or just being so excited to get to see their babies for those who have decided to wait! I can't believe us April Mama's are not far behind! Just curious how many out there have their big scan scheduled? If so when and do you plan on finding out what you are having?

Mine is scheduled for 4pm on 12/8. I can hardly wait to see Hush Puppy again! We are absolutely planning to find out the sex. I can't wait for DS to see his little brother or sister again, he thinks it's so cool that he can see the baby on the computer (that's what he calls the u/s machine at my MW practice). Six more weeks!

I have mine scheduled for Nov 15...in about 2 1/2 weeks or so. I'll be 19 w 4 d. And yes, we want to know what we are having!

Ours is scheduled for this Tuesday at 3:30. We are so excited to see the babino. We are not finding out the sex of the baby, but I cant wait to hang the new us pic up on the fridge next to the 8 week us pic.

Not officially scheduled yet (will be doing that tomorrow), however my doctor told me he does them at 20 weeks so I should be getting mine the first week of December! It is so exciting! I couldn't believe when I looked the beginning of this week that I was a lemon already! I felt like that would never come! and now in two days I will be an orange.

We do not have ours scheduled and i feel so behind since i see that everyone else has them scheduled already! I will be 20 weeks on December 3rd so hopefully around then.

I have a question though...when you scheduled the scan did they tell you it is the appt of the anatomy scan or is it done at a regular appt that you go to every 4 weeks. I ask because at my first appt. I asked my OB when we find out and she said between 18 and 20 weeks. I will be 18 weeks at my next appt. but they didn't mention the anatomy scan when I made the appt. Me and DH really want to find out before Black Friday so we can brgin baby shopping that day!

Mine is Nov 23rd! We have to wait all the way until we're 21 weeks....ughh! Im dying to see the LO again We're not going to find out the sex...it's going to be hard not to, but Im hoping we stay strong!

We also made an appt for a 3D/4D ultrasound the week of Christmas & plan on giving a pic to the grandparents as a present!

I'll be 20 weeks the week of Thanksgiving, so they had to push my anatomy scan to the week after

that extra couple of days seems like a lifetime! But yes, we will be very excited to find out then what we're having

Ours is going to be Nov 22nd, the Mon before Thanksgiving!! We are pretty excited to have (hopefully if baby cooperates) such fun news to share w/ our family over the holiday.

Mine is scheduled for 11/9! I'll be 17w6d. We do plan to find out the baby's sex. I'm so excited to see my LO actually look like a baby since that last u/s we had was when i was about 8 weeks along.

I'm doing an elective ultrasound to find out on Nov. 23, and then my appt with the Dr. is scheduled for 12/7 to confirm. I can't wait to know. I'll be 17 weeks at the first one and 19 and the second one.

Mine is scheduled for 11/24 (the day before Thanksgiving). We will be sharing the news with the families on Thanksgiving day. But yes we are 100% finding out what we are having! :-)

We had a visit today/saw our little one, well his/her butt anyway, lol & scheduled ours. I'm so excited!!! Nov 19th at 8:30am!!!!

Next week for some of you, wow! So exciting! We are scheduled for 11/22 at 9:15 am. My DH wants the tech to secretly write it down and have us do the cake reveal to us and our family on his birthday 11/28. I don't know if I can have that kind of top secret info in my hands without peaking?!

Ours isn't until the first week in December. But my husband is a veterinarian, and we actually used the ultrasound machine in his hospital to take a sneak peak before our first u/s a few weeks ago. Not something we plan on doing all the time, only when our parents come to visit so they can get a chance to see the baby move as well. I've already heard the not so funny joke "so are you having a litter?" a few times after telling people about it. I thought it was cute that my husband was so excited to take the very first photo of our baby.

Oh, and we don't plan on finding out the sex, so my husband's trained ultrasound eye worries me a bit. But he has promised to not look too closely. I'm going to keep an eye on him though....not sure he's completely on board with the not knowing. Smile

HollyMarie, my OB had me make a seperate appointment for the anatomy scan, not on the same day as my regular 4 week appointment. I don't know if all places are like this though.

HollyMarie, my OB had me make a seperate appointment for the anatomy scan, not on the same day as my regular 4 week appointment. I don't know if all places are like this though.

My dr. also had me schedule it seperately, since my monthly appointments are with the dr only, and I needed to schedule time with the ultrasound tech for the scan. Mine is on Novemeber 12 (2 weeks from tomorrow) and we are absolutely wanting to find out the sex!

Mine is scheduled for the same as my regular appt. We are seeing the u/s tech first and to see doc for my normal appt. For us it is all in the same office.

Ours is scheduled for November 17th at 11:30 am and YES we are finding out. I can't wait- I'm SOOO excited!! Not just to find out the gender, but to see the baby, since we haven't haven't had an u/s at all yet.

Mine is scheduled for November 24th at 1 p.m. If baby cooperates, we will find out the sex. If baby doesn't cooperate, no biggie. Baby will be here before we know it, and then we'll know what the sex is for the rest of their life.
