Ruminations

One of my girlfriends is obsessed with the site Ruminations.com. Today she emailed our group of friends and said this one was for me:

 

I'm planning a baby shower for my sister and research indicates it's entirely normal for 40 women to sit around playing a game of "Who Smells the Stinky Doo." Not in my house, b*tches. If we're playing games, we're playing Mimosa Pong. 

 

This cracked me up and reminds me of all the pre-marriage and pre-pregnancy baby showers I planned and pretty much the entire attitude about planning them!

    Ha! If anybody planning my shower throws a game of "Who Smells the Stinky Doo" I will be the first one out the door. We plan on having a couples shower and that type of event would just be torture on both me and DH.

    My husband went to his first couples shower a few years ago kicking and screaming because he thought he'd have to play "those games." Lucky for him the husband said, let's have a bar at our couple's shower and no games were played. The men thoroughly enjoyed themselves as much as the ladies!
