Its mean to do this to a pregnant woman!

Ok so my last OB appointment was on October the 8th. They drew my blood for the AFP test. My midwife called me on the 12th and said that my levels were low and she was sending me to a specialist to do a high resolution ultrasound. I know this happens a lot but I am obviously going to worry until I know that everything is ok. So she says that she is going to send the referral to the comittee (I got to an indian hospital so all of my medical care is free so if you are referred to an outside source it has to be approved first) and it should be approved by the 13th and my appointment will be made for the next week. Well it did not get approved until the 20th and here it is the 28th and no appointment scheduled yet!!!! I called this morning and they said the scheduler is out for the day and to call back tomorrow! So I just have to say it is very mean to make a pregnant woman have to sit here and worry like this!!! OK rant over...
