Re: when did you ladies start to feel "bad"

  • The first 4 months was horrific. Terrible morning sickness and weakness

Then Ive been ok until about a few weeks ago....now I feel large, uncomfortable, achy and exhausted with Braxton Hicks all the time.

  • Up until 13 weeks, I was all nauseated and blech. 2nd tri was awesome. Now I have been tired, achy and moody for a week.
  • The first trimester sucked for me, but then slowly started getting better. Now in the last couple of weeks I feel so tired, grumpy, moody and my stomach is starting to get nauseous again!

  • Week 4 - when I started progestertone shots 2x/week.  They were painful.  Then add the nausea/vomiting at week 6 until 21 weeks, and then pre-term labor at week 24 and I'm pretty well feeling icky.

I'm just exhausted, feeling like crap, and add to that now atrophied muscles from being on bed rest for a month make leg cramps frequent and sleep not so frequent.

  • Honestly, I started feeling bad a few days before my BFP and it has never gone away, LOL! I have not had any "glowing" or easy, breezy, beautifulness to my PG. In the 1st tri  I was dealing with the s/e of progesterone and anxiety about another loss, in the 2nd tri I was dealing with daily nausea and vomiting and fear because of heightened risk of an NTD. Now I still have the nausea and vomiting plus very painful pelvic separation. But, eyes on the prize! We've been waiting for this little guy for a very long time and I will gladly take it all. We are just so thrilled that he appears to be healthy and that is my motivation to get through every tough moment.
  • I, like you, have felt really excellent since the beginning of my pregnancy. I had a bout with heartburn, but I take Zantac to get that under control. I still feel really good, but my sleeping sucks and I'm starting to slow down. Still, I know many other women have a really bad time and I'm sooooo grateful to have this little girl on the way I kind of don't care if I do feel a bit crappy. I'm just glad to be in this "delicate condition." :)
  • At this time in my last pregnancy I was feeling pretty crapy. This time I have yet to feel bad. I think it's because I have gained half the weight and I feel like I look good and I feel great. I give it another 2 weeks and I'm sure I will change my tune lol

  • i just noticed a change in the last week! the first few weeks were horrible because of the morning sickness but i would throw up and go on about my day, now i am tired all the time and have started taking more and more naps and usually i take a nap mid day and am still out by 830. I've really noticed a change just since sunday!
  • I've had a pretty easy go-round.  However, day before my third trimester started, the poop hit the fan!  I'm exhausted, so sleepy I can barely keep my eyes open, every step hurts my entire body, and I'm having morning nausea that thankfully hasn't turned into sickness yet.  I seriously feel like getting out of bed is too much effort every morning!

  • I feel the same way! 1st and 2nd tri were a breeze. I'm so exhausted, tired and moody (i've felt like crying for a week.) I will be glad when this part is over.
  • blargh. I was sick with m/s for the entire first 17 weeks...and it was 24 hours a day, morning noon and night. The second trimester was a bit better...maybe only a couple days where certain foods made me blah. But that was when the heartburn set in and i started having to get up , like 6 times a night with sciatic pain, peeing, or heartburn. I'm at 30 weeks right now and i'm absolutely miserable =/ I've had some serious BH, my feet hurt like crazy, and i feel like i've been punched in the groin. Heh...i guess you could say that I never really felt 'good'
  • I'm still feeling rather good.  I've slowed down a bit and am a bit more tired but I'm trying to keep my spirits up because there is still a lot of time in this pregnancy to be feeling horrible!  I think what's really helped me feel better is taking daily walks and doing pelvic rocks.  If I skip a day of walking, my back will start to hurt quite a bit.  I'm definitely beginning to feel a hint of uncomfortableness but am trying to keep it at bay until at least the last four weeks...we'll see how well that works!

  • I've felt crappy for about 2/3 of my pregnancy so far. It's been a combination of exhaustion, bad nausea, food aversions, awful heartburn/reflux, migraines, backaches, swelling, etc. etc. I realize it could be worse, but I am definitely not one of those blessed with an easy pregnancy.

  • i've felt great this whole pregnancy.  this week i am starting to be uncomfortable and irritable, but mainly in the evenings.  i don't feel bad per se but i definitely am cranky.  i usually just put myself to bed.
  • Honestly, I've been fairly miserable the entire time.  Early on, I was really, really sick.  That didn't subside until the 20ish week mark, at which point my legs started swelling painfully.  And in the past few weeks, I've re-added my nausea to the equation, kept the painful leg swelling, and discovered some pretty awful back pain.

  • This last week has been pretty miserable for me. LO keeps finding places to snuggle that make him feel very sharp and pointy. He also WONT MOVE when I try to gently nudge him to move a bit, he moves on his own time! This week has also brought some amazing tailbone pain from sitting at my chair at work, and hip pain at night when I am trying to sleep!
