My mom got together with her estranged BFF today!

I forgot to tell you girls! I posted awhile back about how my FOL post kind of led to my mom reuniting with her BFF (this is the linky if you want), and so today the BFF came over to visit her!

My mom was super nervous, I took her with me to Meals on Wheels, then I took her home and she wanted me to stay there to make it less awkward, so I waited until the friend came over and said hi and all and "Oh I was just leaving."

I am so happy for my mom, I know this has left a big hole in her heart for years, I just hope they can rekindle what they had. They were friends for so long, but they've been not friends for about 15 years now. That must be awkward, but at the same time when you know someone that well sometimes it's easy to start from where you left off, you know?

Anyway just wanted to update since I posted about it before.

    Awww...that's so nice!  Especially with everything your mom is going through.

    GEAUX TIGERS!!!

    1st pregnancy: BFP- 6/28/09 - Found out we lost our little girl on 10/9/09 at 19w 4d - D&E- 10/14/09

    June 2010, corrective surgery for Septate Uterus and large fibroids

    2nd pregnancy: BFP- 10/18/10 - Slow rising, non-doubling HCGs, no heart beat. Non-viable pregnancy, D&C- 11/12/10

    Started Metformin 6/30/11, Started Clomid 7/20/11 - Unsuccessful

    HSG and Laparoscopic surgery revealed blocked tubes and lots of scar tissue...IVF here we come!!!

    Surprise BFP naturally!!! IT'S A BOY!!!

    Married 5/15/10. Me (29). DH (33). BFP#1 7/25/10 - Missed m/c 8wks - D&E 8/25/10 BFP#2 12/25/10 - Missed m/c 7wks - D&E 1/20/11 (second loss due to abnormal chromosome 7) Genetics testings- Normal. RPL panel results- Normal. Elevated FSH (14). DH b/w normal. SA- Normal. HSG- Left tube possibly blocked. Minor septum removed. My Ovulation Chart ~~ Hope is the companion of power, and mother of success. For who so strongly hopes has within him the gift of miracles ~~ image

    Oh that is so special...Given everything that your mom has been going through I think it is great that they are able to rekindle the friendship they had....I hope it is the start of many great things to come!

    March 2015: IUI#1 - nope.
    May 2015: IUI#2 - nada.
    October 2015: IUI#3 - BFP on Nov 2, 2015! *stick baby stick!*
